Lauric acid finds wide applications in cosmetics and food products. It has been tested for its use as an enhancer for topical penetration and transdermal absorption. It is used as a stabilizer for oil-in-emulsions.[1]

应用

Lauric acid may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in biopharmaceutical formulations by chromatography techniques.[2][3][4]
