General description

Cellulase belongs to the family of glycoside hydrolase,^[3] which is secreted by various cellulolytic microorganisms.^[4]

Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

来自 黑曲霉（Aspergillus niger） 的纤维素酶可催化纤维素、地衣素、大麦葡聚糖和纤维低聚糖中的内切-1,4-β-D-糖苷键水解为纤维己糖。 其不会切割纤维二糖或 p-硝基苯基-β-D-葡萄糖苷。 该酶还可通过水解木糖基丝氨酸键从核心肽中切割完整的糖胺聚糖。

Unit Definition

在pH 5.0，37℃条件下，一个单位可在1小时内从纤维素中释放出1.0μmole的葡萄糖（孵育时间为2小时）。
