所有缓冲液的pH值都与温度和浓度有关。对于 Tris 缓冲液，温度每降低 1°C，pH 就会增加约 0.03 单位，每稀释 10 倍，pH 会降低 0.03-0.05 单位。
对于一些精准的应用，请使用经过仔细校准的pH计和玻璃/甘汞组合电极。
TRIS盐酸盐是一种常用的生物缓冲液，又称为Trizma HCl。 Tris缓冲液被广泛用于诊断、下游纯化和细胞培养等生物系统中。Tris的pKa为7.77，与生理pH值7.36非常接近。

Tris HCl被用于生物制药缓冲液制剂（上游和下游）、电泳分离和诊断试剂配方。Tris HCl特别适用于下游纯化过程。
