一般描述

Propylene carbonate is a cyclic carbonate[1] commonly used as an organic solvent. Many methods have been reported for its synthesis from propylene oxide and carbon dioxide under different reaction conditions.[2][3][4] The dielectric property, relaxation times and viscosity has been studied.[1] It is a potential electrochemical solvent in preparing aprotic battery electrolytes.[5]

This solvent is glass distilled, submicron filtered and subjected to rigorous specification testing to provide lot-to-lot consistency.
